Snes9x

Snes9x is a great Super Nintendo emulator for which ports are available for many platforms, unlike ZSNES.
Though Snes9x also has many of the features of ZSNES, it lacks a bit in compatibility. This doesn't mean it's bad, but there can only be one the best: ZSNES.
If however you have a Macintosh or other system which can't run DOS executables you are stuck with Snes9x however ;-) The Macintosh port of Snes9x is available from www.emulation.net.
Version 1.30b#1 featured many improvements, including premature NetPlay support (still buggy though according to the author). Also I noticed a significant improvement in the "wind" sound found in the opening of Final Fantasy III (US) after I switched on the Anti Resonance's alternate sample decoding routine feature, which was also new in that release.
